I set the language to the pseudo-language en-XA and then my Fairphone 4 rebooted and before it’s fully booted it always crashes.
Other also had the same problem: https://xdaforums.com/t/solved-bootloop-after-changing-device-language-to-english-one.4381023/ but I don’t have TWRP installed and my bootloader is locked.
For adb shell “setprop persist.sys.locale en-US” I don’t have the permissions as my phone is not rooted.
Is there a way to just set the language from recovery mode or by fastboot? I don’t want to wipe all data to set a language.
