Hello, @Damouche, welcome to /e/ forum.

  • First, you need to charge the battery without booting.

  • what is the OS on your PC ?

  • what was previous OS on the phone ?

  • Also, please explain what you did to install.
and link the instructions page you followed

Hey, thanks for the help, i was trying to install with command line and after i finished everything i do “fastboot reboot recovery” and then bootloop.
I can’t go in recovery or fastboot or anyting
i wait all night long for the battery to die and now idk what to do… anyways thanks for the help !
i was in nothing os before that and i use Windows

there is no such command involved in
Install /e/OS on a Nothing Nothing CMF Phone 1 - “tetris”

So all the work is done by a script.

Did you save the terminal output on the PC as the script ran ?

Did you notice any error in the output ?

You know that the physical button presses for Fastboot mode are

With the device powered off - hold Volume Up + Power

Getting Fastboot mode will be your primary aim, I expect you know. It is not so uncommon for the script to fail to flash some partition making the phone unuseable. The fix is to run the script again from Fastboot mode.

You did install Git Bash ?

im sorry i didnt save the terminal output but there was no error
i already tried to go on fastboot with volume UP + power but it keeps bootlooping

It is quite uncommon to bootloop from Fastboot.

As you are aware once the battery drains (and as said by @piero) don’t try to boot the phone once drained and recharged but go straight to Fastboot.

Meanwhile are you aware that you may be able to trigger Fastboot at the precise point in the bootloop where the phone is momentarily off. Worth to keep trying to get the timing just right with the button presses to try to engage Fastboot.

so i need to plug it and after that try to go in fastboot ? ill try but i think ill already tried that and it just bootlooped again

just tried, it shoes the “orange status” for less than 5sec and restart bootlooping… buttt just before that, i see “recovery” at the bottom left of my screen for 0.5s approximativly

looks similar to this topic :

I am facing the exact same issue. It happened after a botched flash. Then fastboot worked fine but couldn’t couldn’t start the phone no matter what I did because it keeps saying “dm-verity corruption”.

So I tried going into recovery mode, and then this happened. Now I can’t even go back to fastboot. The power button + up volume button no longer brings the menu, when it starts it very briefly says “RECOVERY MODE” at the bottom left of the screen, then shows the “orange state” message, then the “dm-verity corruption” message, then it quicky flashes bright like it’s broken and then turns off.

Anyone got any luck so far?

The steps followed by this fine gentleman at 5:19 : https://youtu.be/ZNCfmaln734?si=SEHLjpwIO2GcveX0&t=319

He was showcasing our exact problem. Here is the link to the blog with download links: CMF Phone 1 – A Development Journey: From Unlocking to Custom ROMs – TechFanciers

As described, I installed MTK drivers (link in the blog, I can only add 2 links)

Rebooted the PC

Ran NothingFlashTool.exe from the archive (link in the blog, I can only add 2 links)

Then hit “start” with the phone plugged in doing its crazy restarts. Eventually the software said “connected” and started unbricking it (it stopped restarting). After about 5 minutes it was done.

Unplugged the device, rebooted and it was back to the Nothing OS initial setup (yay).

Bless these guys.
