BQ Aquaris X stuck at first setup/boot after install

Tried to install e/os on a BQ Aquaris X (bardock build) with Lineageos 20 previously on it. Everything installs smoothly, until reboot. If I choose my wifi when the phone are making the initial setup at first boot, it tries for a while but then complains that there is no internet connection. If I choose to setup without connecting to wifi, it gets stuck in an infinite loop.
Something strange is going on, because when I put in the wifi password I can see that the phone has a internet connection.

Tried Community T 2.8 & 2.7 with no difference.

Solved it! I needed to format the cache partition AND the system partition besides doing the factory reset/data wipe at the recovery screen. Now it works!
