Brief message appearing about F-droid repo issues

Had this happen twice now, yesterday and today… A brief message appeared bottom of screen but not long enough to read. Would be useful if /e/OS had some sort of logging system like GNU/Linux that uses Logs when things happen at system level.

You might check if F-Droid can update its own repositories. I have been getting “a message” … I have yet to resolve this … perhaps you can help … I think there is a warning somewhere that certain sources for F-Droid supply a non-updating variant; as you say unreadable but I wondered if the notification was relevant to this ??

Sounds familiar. Have had some updates that came through without any issue recently. If I launch F-droid and select updates it reports that all apps are up to date.

I decided to uninstall and reinstall F-Droid. Now running v 1.22.0. Received a bunch of updates this morning.

Having seen another F-Driod “over brief” flash notification today about unusual permissions (or so) I see that F-Droid is denied Notifications within the phone’s Settings > Notifications. I guess this is reason for no “proper” Notification and it is unrecorded in Notification history.
