Calibrating the auto brightness

Now I found an instruction for calibrating the auto brightness and it seems to work:

go to a dark room
deactivate the auto brightness
manually set the brightness to minimum
activate the auto brightness
deactivate the auto brightness
go to a very bright place
manually set the brightness to a suitable value
activate the auto brightness
