Call volume is too low

Others seem to have the exact same issue, but no solution.

I have the Samsung S8, EOS is up to date. Others seem to have the same issue with S9.

I bought this phone pre-installed. I didn’t have the issue initially. I can’t remember when this started, but it has been quite a while. I never found the time to try to figure this out (I just used the speaker when I can, or I really stick the phone close to my ear and try to figure out what people are saying).

After searching the web, the forums and so on, I can’t find anything on this.

Does anyone have any clues on this ?

Same here with my Fairphone 4. I can hardly hear the other person…

Blue Tack (in French, Patafix).
This seems to be a mechanical/physical issue, not software related. I saw a Reddit thread suggesting this and it seems to help quite a bit.

Rub some Blue tack in to the ear speaker to pull out dirt/link/etc that is dampening the sound.
