the camera App does record the geoloc, but on sharing it gets removed, depending on the permissions of the destination app (it needs ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION).
I was startled by this at first too until I learned.
Does the App offer a way to “pick” a file in-App instead of sharing to it though the Camera App?
