Camera / Torch randomly open up

Hi Guys,

I’m really not sure if this is an android, /e/ or OnePlus 5t thing and it doesn’t really seriously impair my experience in any way, but on the off chance that someone knows the solution I wanted to ask it here.
Every now and then, my phone (onePlus 5t using the android 9 /e/os build) opens up the camera or the flashlight app from “standby” state.
I am generally somehow handling the phone, but after 2 years I have not been able to reproduce the gestures/motions that trigger this opening. I went into the settings > system > Gestures > Touchscreen gestures and disabled pretty much all of them
I also made sure to disable “Long Press on Torch” under settings>system>Buttons
But this odd behaviour is completely unaffected by those settings.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Exactly the same for me! Use a oneplus 5 with crdroid (Android 11)

Try Search settings for “jump to”, for the camera, and " long press for torch".

Just wanted to update this in case anyone has the same.
It’s no longer a problem since I updated to Android 10. I think it may have something to do with the firmware version (which also had to be updated)
