For those on Xiaomi devices, who have an underwhelming experience with e/OS 2.7 bundled camera app, you can most likely enjoy a G-cam port as an alternative, and regain full support of all the multiple lenses and settings that you would normally have in a Xiaomi stock rom. It can live alongside e/OS camera app, no need to uninstall.
I use LMC8.4_R18 from Hasli, a G-cam modified port. You will find the apk here:
You have to download the apk and also the specific configuration (a xml file) for your device.
Mine is a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (lisa), and the configuration listed as “Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G” works perfectly.
The configuration file must be placed in a folder that you manually create on your device here:
/storage/emulated/0/Gcam/Configs8/
(basically Gcam is at the same level where your Download folder is)
All three lenses, plus selfie, will show up. Plus additional two lenses modes (one is black’n’white, the other I have no idea… I have disabled both). Way more features than what I’ll ever use.
