Can’t find Vodafone Greece app

For some days now I have been trying to find the app for Vodafone Greece in App Lounge. The search result give me the Vodafone app for quite a few countries (from Ireland via Qatar to Polynesia), but not the one for Greece.

Anybody who knows the trick I need?

Yes, I know it exists in the Play Store, but I am unable to download it in App Lounge.

This link to My Vodafone (GR) is expected to open itself in AppLounge…

Thanks. I pasted the link in App Lounge, which leads to many apps, but none from Vodafone.

This is odd … I find it ok

Alternatively you might search for com.myvodafone.android

Searching for ‘com.myvodafone.android’ makes no difference.

Could it be because I use App Lounge with an anonymous account? I would guess that it should make no difference.

It is odd that I find many Vodafone apps searching in the App Lounge for ‘Vodafone Greece’, but not the Greek one.

App Lounge for me is an anonymous account. I do have Advanced Privacy blocking trackers but not the others; if in trouble and testing I might switch off AP and restart.

Also clear App Lounge as FAQ

So the mystery remains. But thanks a lot for trying to help.
I do not use Advanced Privacy. I did restart the phone, just in case, but still no dice.
Thanks again.

App Lounge has some bugs in terms of apps listed / found and “available” for download.

You could try setting your device identifier to Google Nexus 6 or comparable (under microG settings if I recall it correctly) and then log the anonymous account out in App Lounge, then start a new login (anonymous).

Maybe the “missing” app is then visible and able to get its download started.

I wonder about the bugs as well, but it happens for a lot of devices. My OnePlus 9 Pro had a bug where login was successful, apps were listed, but updates weren’t shown. No errors, nothing.

Then I opened the information site of an app in the lounge, it failed. Logged out, logged in again - failed again. Logged out, waited 30 minutes, set plane mode prior…

Then logged in again, et voila - apps load and updates are shown.

So “no error” doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s actually no fault in the background.

Interesting. I have never opened the microG app before. As I usually find apps alright, I doubt that it would make much difference, but I am not very technical.
I am a bit hesitant to start fiddling. What I like about e/os is that it seems simple to manage without tricks, which should give it a wider market than if it is for the more technically involved.
I can manage my Greek sim card from my old phone for now, so maybe I will just try again every now and then in the App Lounge.
