can we limit access to default apps like browser using parental control (because it is nearly impossible to uninstall them) ? or this is possible for non default apps

Hi bro! I was about to recommend the same post, it worked fine for me. Another application that might be useful for blocking or limiting (hourly or by number of times to use per day or week) apps is secureZen, it is customizable and contain cool features like prevent uninstall and prevent changing system time, and it is PIN protected also, it needs device admin rights but totally worth it (at least for me). I combined default parental control from /e OS and secureZen and did already uninstalled the default browser (SPIN safe browser is a wonderful alternative if you want to try it: has two versions free and paid, but the payement component from Google on /e os is not working properly on my phone, so I cannot pay for any app at all). I hope this might help you in your customization journey.
