Cannot log into Murena email with application password

I’ve been trying to set up an application password for my account in the Mail app without success. I created it, I typed it, but I get an ‘Authentication failed’ error message.

Anybody had the same problem?

Application passwords are for Nextcloud (files, agenda, contacts, notes, …).
Email is not handled by Nextcloud and thus cannot use application passwords. You’ll have to use your real password here.
