Cannot register in gitlab

i would like to register in GitLab, however the registration process does not work. After I’ve entered my details and clicked on ‘sign up’ the app redirected me to gitlab.e.foundation/users, which is a blank page. Reloading brings me back to the login page. Entering the just registered credentials results in an error.

What’s the error message?
Could it be connected to this here from the Report an issue page? …

Getting an error message in new ID creation on /e/OS Gitlab?

• Some users may get an error message, while attempting to create a new ID on the /e/OS Gitlab
• This error occurs because we limit email domains for registration to prevent fake accounts from overwhelming our servers.
• If your email is not allowed, you can create a Murena Workspace account here and register using your Murena email.

I tried to register with the murena email and that worked. Thank you. Obviously, there is no public list of the blacklisted domains, however I think posteo could be whitelisted. They provide only paid accounts.
