Cannot send emails 'retries exceeded'

As of a month now i cannot receive nor send emails on the standard email app with the murena account. Ive now tried to send two mails in the span of 2 weeks and both just dont send. I also haven’t recieved any mails for over a month while the webmail shows emails have been received.

I havent changed anything since i initially configured it last september. Anyone have an idea as to why?

Same problem for me, mail sending / receiving was possible with thunderbird on my PC
i went in Mail app params, and the password type was configured to oauth2 (for sending and receiving)
I changed it to “normal” and all is repaired !
