Cannot use eSIM in Germany

Hi everyone,

since someone in the fairphone forum sends me here:

I ordered my FP5 with eOS directly from Fairphone.
I wanted to use an eSIM from my provider congstar.
My provider said that the code my phone expects suggests that the phone is an US one.
My phone expects a code beginning with 1$ or LPA:1$, but the code from my provider looks way different.

Any solutions or ideas for this issue?

I can’t help you directly! But I also have a Murena-FP5 in Germany. I use an eSIM from Vodafone here without any problems. I also use Congstar as my main connection on the FP5 without any problems, but with a “classic” SIM card.
