I thought this was a problem with it being set up under Shelter, but cloning whatsapp to my regular profile doesn’t give me access either.
When I try to access gifs, it gives me the message “Check your phone’s Internet connection and try again”. My partner also uses an e/OS Fairphone 3 and can posts gifs fine - what are they doing right?

I had this issue when trackers are blocked, solved by allowing the GIPHY Analytics tracker in Advanced Privacy for Whatsapp.

Hi @an.lize ! I have the same issue, but I dont know how to disable this tracker : I would be glad if you could give me any guidance ! I use magisk and Adaway, on a FP3 with /e/ OS. I am not sure if one of those apps blocks trackers actually.
