Hi, had an old @e.email account years ago with my unofficial LGG4 rom supported by @steadfasterx.
I since changed to a Moto g Stylus 5g 2021 (Osaka or Denver) because lgg4 Verizon needs Volte now. I recently successfully made eos v3.0-t rom for moto g using conventional repo setup. But Murena won’t let me set up an account because if I use my old Gmail account for backup email it says it’s already used (assumed because old e email). If I use my bellsouth.net email it says it’s not a good email, which is not true. So I gave up. Switched back to stock 12.
BTW. My eos v3.0-t rom has working fingerprint security, touch screen, wifi calling, two bank apps work. Pretty much all works, but like with my old LGG4, lots of frustration with backing up and restoring data, and using paid for 3rd party apps like fairmail (won’t work with Oauth). Did get your k-9 email app to work with Bellsouth.net though. Google gives 15gb cloud free. I can’t even get Murena to setup an account.
Ironic, I can build a working rom, but can’t setup an email or cloud account , and no phone or email to get help!
Would this email service allow you to create an alias which would do this job? If a true alias is not offered you might be able to create one by using username+alt@bellsouth.net

I don’t think it is my name that’s the problem with Bellsouth.nxt. Bellsouth emails use ATT servers thru Yahoo and require Oauth. I think Murena sees all Bellsouth emails as illegitimate, but I could be wrong. What I need is for Murena to release my gmail account as a backup email from what I assume is my old e.email account. Problem is no way to get in touch with anyone at Murena that I can see.
(Sorry I read your post wrong first time.) Yes, works for me. We were told user@e. email is synonymous with user@murena.io for users who registered with e.email.
In this thread Murena Account Login asks for One-Time Code it seems a user found 2FA had been introduced without his having seen to turn it off. Thus password reset was impossible.
Well done creating and publishing your build; I would start a new thread for it in UnOfficial Builds.
Well I just tried my old e.email account login, and it worked. Maybe I put it in wrong, or I was locked trying to create new Murena . But all good now.
