I didn’t root my device, maybe this is the issue, because I’ve always rooted in the past with Magisk, but I’m not sure if this is the issue. I did enable Rooted Debugging in the developers options.
After I run fastboot flash recovery twrp_3.6.2_11-v2.img I then boot into recovery and TWRP is there.
But if I restart the phone to e/OS, in e if I reboot to Recovery from the power button menu, it boots me into the e Recovery.
Just for clarity, did you first install /e/OS with its own e-Recovery, (and all works ok?) and now you would like to replace e-Recovery with TWRP? This is quite an old TWRP compared with available A 13 (T) / A 14 dumpling.
Then I boot to the recovery and TWRP is there, then I boot up e/, then with the Advanced Restart enabled, from the power button, I boot to recovery and the e/ recovery shows up…
I’m surely hoping that this can be resolved in your favour.
But there’s only support for the /e/OS recovery, not for TWRP, so please be positively surprised if they fix it, and not negatively surprised if they won’t .
