I bought a galaxy tab S2 (SM-T810) because I saw a /e/ rom was available, but I can’t install it
Side note : I did not configure any account on it.
I followed this guide, to no avail !
First : I can’t find the “oem unlock” option mentioned, even though I’ve updated android to the latest possible version (7.0). Is this step mandatory ?
Second : I nonetheless carried through the rest of the guide : booted into download mode, used
heimdall print-pit
that did reboot the device as expected.
Rebooted again into download mode,
seems to work (the blue transfer bar appears), but I can’t shut down the device using the power button.
I have to use home+volume down+power. As soon as the screen turns black I switch to home+volume up+power to boot into recovery.
But I’m stuck on the splash screen “Samsung galaxy tab S2 powered by android”, with no access to twrp.
Is this because I can’t find the oem unlock ? If so, is there anything I can do about it ?
