Carrier acceptance?

Is there a list of which carriers accept e? My fear is my carrier would reject service for a phone using a modified OS.

I think it’s a pretty good bet that contacting my carrier’s customer support on the issue would be a very poor use of time.

Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/ the unGoogled mobile OS and online servicesphone

The /e/android/OS installation don’t modify the modem firmware of the device, so no difference in use LTE network between the gogol/android/OS and /e/android/OS.

If your device already works with your carrier, it will also work using /e/

But if you don’t yet own a compatible device and plan to buy one, check your carrier frequency

and compare to the devices frequency

Hi @piero, I actually had this same concern when I was first researching and considering /e/OS, but did not know that the LTE network couldn’t distinguish between G/android and /e/android!

Thanks for sharing- knowing this actually makes it easier for me to try to get friends and family to de-google.
