Changing text notification settings

I’m on /e/OS 2.7 (Android 14) for FP4. I have some text conversations that can receive many distracting and even annoying replies in a short amount of time. I would like to have sound and / or vibrate still work for other things. I don’t see an option to mute the conversation, and the option to switch from default to silent notification is greyed and unresponsive. Individual toggles are also greyed and unresponsive. How could I enable muting or disabling sound and / or vibration for specific text conversations or contacts?

Are you talking about the default SMS App of /e/OS or are you using any other text conversation App? Which one?

In the conversation: Menu (three dots at the top right) - Notifications - Notifications.

I know where the options are, but as I said, most of them aren’t selectable for some reason. They are greyed out and unresponsive to taps. Do you know if there are other settings causing this which could be changed?
