Charging management on Pixel 5

Hello,
with my old S7 on E/OS 2.4 it was possible to block the fast charge of the battery. I currently have a Pixel 5 with E/OS 2.5 T and the only possibility is to activate the “charge control” with either “automatic planning” without knowing what it does, or “personalized planning” which allows to define the time of bébut and end of charge.
There is no choice to avoid fast charging and to stop charging at 80%.
Is there a good app that would help manage this?
Are there any plans to integrate these functions into E/OS in the future?
Best regards

As far as I know there isn’t. But what you could do: you could simply use a charger that only offers 9W, 3W or even less…

I find charging control does offer the second part “stop charging at a certain %age”.The image shows the selection of “Limit charging” set at 95%. 2.5-t-20241110446839-community-ocean.

I have a two chargers and two cables leading to quite a wide choice of actual charging time in conjunction with the app Ampere. The “low capacity” charging cable prevents “rapid charging”.

thank you for your answers,
With version 2.5-t-20241108446629-official-redfin the charge control does not propose “the limit charging”.
perhaps for future updates?

I think it does … just tap Mode de Charge for alternatives … including Limiter la charge.

My Pixel 4a is also missing that option. I put a custom defintion a bit later than my usual alarm clock and it won’t be at 100% it is a bit try and error first and doesn’t work on the weekends :woman_shrugging::woman_shrugging:

@aibd
alas no, it only offers two options:
“Automatic scheduling” or ‘Custom scheduling’.
“Planification automatique” ou “Planification personnalisée”
