Choose folder before taking picture

General Android and also eOS question, is it possible to quickly change the folder where a picture will be saved before taking the shot? I know I can go settings and change it, I was today just wondering what camera apps offer in that regard.

You can do this with the native Camera app by long press of the Gallery icon (bottom left) provided Storage Framework Access is toggled on.

Camera > Camera settings (top right) > More camera controls > Storage access Framework. When first toggled on, give access permission to the desired folders.

  • (My experience with my Samsung A3 (2016) is that saving to SD card is unpredictable)

Thx @aibd exactly what I was looking for. A bummer that I need to type in by keyboard but well it is just for the first in that folder. After that I can choose from list.
