On Page https://e.foundation/e-os/, I think button “Check device compatibility“ should be renamed into something like “/e/OS Installer“ since link is https://e.foundation/installer/, right ?
The /e/OS installer is not compatible as yet with all devices we support. The user needs to first check compatibility with their particular device. Saying ‘/e/OS installer’ here would give a person the impression that all devices would work and can be confusing.
That is why we have the text ‘Check device compatibility’.
BTW we have plans to make the /e/OS installer work for all devices. Once that state is achieved, we may change the wording.

I think it should link to Smartphone Selector so that you can see devices compatibility list, instead of /e/OS Installer.

Indeed. Disappointing to find a suitable “chromium like” browser of the correct version which supports WebUSB then

only to find your phone, at the eighth page, is unsupported.
The words “Easy Installer” also survived onto that page.

yes loki, I wanted to propose that to improve coherence of the page but my “beginner” status here as newbie prevented me from using more than 2 links…
