I just installed version 4.2 and when it tells me to configure PIN+Fingerprints, just after put twice the new pin, the phone doesnt save it. I tried again when setup is finished, but its the same, the phone doesnt save security pin and doesn`t go to fingeprint setup.
I had this problem in another phone, (not with this roms), and i can`t solve the problem.
For a new install first thing to rule out; is there a possibility of a Google account remains on the device? The install page contains
Warning: Before proceeding with the installation, log out of any accounts you may have set on the stock ROM. Also, remove any screen locks that have been set on the device.
It is a Google account especially important to remove otherwise the phone can suffer from Factory Reset Protection. Other threads on this have hashtag frp. Typically however you would get “PIN already set” sort of error, so yours may be something else.
If affected the fix would be to return to Stock ROM, make contact with the account, remove it and all PINs and passwords.
i didn’t realice that i don’t erase my gmail account before change the rom. i did what you said and now E /OS/ works like a charm. Thank you very much
