I think many would like to set custom ringtones to each contact group, for example to set a silent ringtone for unknown numbers, another for preferred contacts, another for friends, etc.
This would be even more useful nowadays, since we are receiving many spam calls from sproofed numbers.

There was a time I would get spam calls with spoofed numbers incessantly, but that doesn’t happen as much for me now in the USA. I’m not sure why that is, could be due to FCC regulations or carrier policy, but either way I’m happy about it. Still happens though. My phone is always on “do not disturb” with an exception for contacts.
Caller ID sproofing should be outlawed and blocked by service providers, this is unbearable
