I bought a Fairphone 4 and installed /E/OS on it with success. The first update went well with no issues.
Unfortunately, the update to 3.3 has broken the ability to switch users. After tapping the user to switch to, and entering my pattern, the screen goes dark and I am not able to do anything. Need to turn the phone off, and then back on to switch back to the main user to be able to use the phone.
I went to report this on the Gitlab, but there was an issue signing up for an account. The error read: “1 error prohibited this user from being saved:
Email is not allowed for sign-up. Please use your regular email address. Check with your administrator.”
So, I went to find any other way to contact someone, and ended up on Contact - /e/ - e Foundation - deGoogled unGoogled smartphone operating systems and online services - your data is your data offering to volunteer for testing… since I am also interested in doing that. So here we are!
Any suggestions for fixing the issue, and is the forum the best place to report things like this in the future?
