I reinstalled my phone, which went well (except that it synced a gigabyte of music that I didn’t need to be synced, ran into the storage limit, so it is a it cumbersome to always remember to turn off sync before you copy anything to your new phone) .
But my contacts didn’t seem to sync. I looked on the web app and they were still present there. When I change something to make them save, it does sync them onto the phone, but only the contacts that I change.
I speculate it’s due to not using the @e.email domain for the username. I filed this at bug at the time.
(It can be fixed server-side to it’s possible for the problem to just disappear without clientside update)
