The FP6 source code has been released. However I’m not able to fork the FP6 repository nor do I see a way to create MR requests or another way to contribute source code.
Could someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks

in the e/devices/ gitlab group forks are not available to regular 3rd party users. I guess due to vandalism and incurred space usage. The gitlab admin to ask would be rhunault I think, unsure how to contact though. File an issue and tag the admin? (I had other issues with forking recently)
They’d probably need to create new group for users asking instead of granting permissions by default.
Thanks for the hints!
as another user asked about the fp6 kernel to patch it I looked around where things are at.
Apparently e is in the process to build the kernel inhouse. Thread is over here with links to a lineageos port which has a more approachable roomservice xml (as in all public repos but the vendor blobs) if you want to build yourself.
Thanks for the pointers, I’ve synced the eOS repo but haven’t created a roomservice.xml yet. This will be handy.
