It’s not possible to create a GitLab user account.
I always get this error:
“E-Mail ist für die Anmeldung nicht erlaubt. Bitte verwende deine reguläre E-Mail-Adresse. Wende dich an deine(n) Administrator(in).” (Email is not allowed for registration. Please use your regular email address. Contact your administrator.)
My used E-Mail-address is correct and it is a valid account.
Someone else had the same problem some time ago. But the topic is closed and thus I couldn’t reply to it.
Please just set my E-Mail address to the whitelist for registration on your GitLab-server.
It’s the same E-Mail-address I used to register on this Forum.
I don’t want to post it publicly, so if you can´t see it please send me a PM and I will send my address to you there. ( I can´t send you a PM myself or at least I don`t see how to do it, by clicking on your profile.)
BTW:
I already created a Murena Workspace account but I can’t login to the murena-E-Mail account. It just times out. I even changed the password multiple times but this also doesn’t help…
The above given method is the one recommended by the infra team. You will have to use the same to get access to the gitlab. I will share the error you reported with the team and share their response.
Yes it is. And now please delete my email from your public visibly post. As I wrote “I don’t want to post it publicly, so if you can´t see it please send me a PM and I will send my address to you there.” . And I also set it in the profile to be private! I really don’t appreciate it to have my personal data leaked!
My sincere apologies I mixed the mail with another which I had received in the DM with the same request. The post has been deleted. I have sent you a DM and we can continue this discussion there.
