Curve Pay stuck at "Enabling tap-to-pay"

I’m trying to set up payment through Curve Pay (v4.95.0 from app lounge) on FP6, with /e/OS 3.0.2-a15-20250627504414. The card is added successfully (had to manually set it, scanning didn’t work with something like “camera not available” error), but when prompted to set it as default wallet, it shows it’s going through 3 steps (confirming card details, securing information, enabling tap-to-pay), but it’s stuck on the 3rd.
Reinstalling the app/rebooting the phone didn’t help.

When trying to set it through the default apps settings page, it’s not shown as an option at all.

Has anyone had the same issue? Any workarounds?

I have almost same config

Was able to pay once BUT now it does not work anymore
All other transactions have been „not compatible card“ on payment terminal

Same issue here on FP5 running /e/OS 3.0.4-t.
Anyone fixed that?

several updates of both curve pay, and /e/OS later, the issue persists

Have you tried the following?

(in Curve app) Launchpad->Account->Enable Curve pay

It doesn’t seem to ne enabled by default.

Even when I go to Launchpad - Account - Activate Curve Pay, the activation process gets stuck at the last step.

Although I receive the following email, the activation does not seem to have been completed.

Although NFC is active and the Curve Pay app is running in the foreground, the phone and the payment terminal do not respond in any way when I try to pay.

PS: My phone is a FP5 running /e/OS 3.1.1-t.

You may check in Settings app, Connected devices > Connection preferences > NFC > Contactless payments, Curve as Default payment app.

There is no entry for Curve in the list of payment apps, only PayPal, which is also the default payment app. I will try to make a contactless payment with PayPal and report whether I was successful.

I have exactly the same issue, being stuck on the last point “Enabling tap-to-pay”.
@ManuelS did you find a solution?
