that’s wild, firetv stick nougat builds.

All the more makes me want to put the lfs repo into their own fdroid index, because those apps are stuck thanks to the /e/-release mode

If I understand correctly, you have installed and tested it, and found that sound was not working, right?
Let’s see if that is fixed soon… meanwhile, can you please give your impression about /e/OS on large TV screens?

The developer is not active, so someone has to to take this over. I would be happy to build when fixed
