thank you ronnz, tested flox and working as previous build. stable to use as a daily driver. i only have encounter a issue with aniyomi, facing purple screen and force closed when to play a video. tried to use external player, but still have issue to play the video. also tried with forked aniyomi app. but still the the same. maybe anyomi and forked got a playback issue with nexus 7 2013 android 11. its not a major issue since i found alternative aniyomi. if anyone encounter this issue, u can use dantotsu. hope you will build rom 12L for flox. i want to try to flash elementalx custom kernel on flox e/os rom.
edit:
i was able to flash anykernel3 for android 11 without any issue. it boosted nexus 7 2013 performance significantly.
Build 2.2 also working fine for me on flox.
Since it’s not (as) bebloated like the previous build I had to remove some not-used items as there was no room in /system lefi to push a needed certain tool.
hi marcdw, anykernel3 for flox is based on elementalX kernel. i installed and used ex kernel manager to flash anykernel3 flox zip. make sure u do a backup 1st.
Not sure which to choose so I went with the experimental first. If anything were to break I’d restore the original kernel and work my way backwards. So far though it’s running fine.
Any tips, tricks, or tweaks recommended? First thing I tried was double-tap-to-wake which worked.
Was tempted to try the ElementalX governor which is closer to OnDemand in its behavior. Will test it, comparing it to Interactive.
Anyway, I forgot that Ex Kernel Manager (purchased years ago) does license checking. Hadn’t planned on turning on the Google stuff but that’s okay.
Though I could(?) try SmartPack Kernel Manager if I choose to disable Google on the system.
I mostly plan on using CLI apps on the device anyway inside Termux Expert Launcher, just because.
