Default Message app wipes message contents when adding recipients

Bug: Default Message app wipes message contents when adding recipients to the list.

To replicate, create a message to multiple recipients. Start writing a message. Click in ‘To’ field and add another contract. Message content is wiped. Delete the extra contact. Partial/no message (to last autosave?) is restored.

Desired behavior is that adding a recipient does not lose current message.

Until this bug is fixed, could you try these FOSS apps from the F-Droid Store: SMS Messenger or Silence

Thanks @archje but i haven’t got f-droid working yet. Privelidged app stuff.

I’m fnding eOS isn’t grandmother ready yet…

I guess that I’ll keep using Message until i have got a descent app repository working. At least I’m beta testing by feeding back.
