Thank you, however this does not answer my question.
My Smartphone was purchased at Murena so the updates are done via OTA, so I would like to know how to uninstall it directly or if an update is planned to get rid of micro G?
You can’t uninstall it, just desactivate (uninstall for the user 0)
No version without microG planned since 5 years that it is asked…
Why i ask for your model, to try to build
I’m sorry but I don’t know anything about it, I absolutely didn’t understand from your message directing to a publication that it was a request for a model.
My model is the FP5, even if it was to build it, an OTA update would have to be done without having to go through the adb sideload system each time ^^
Please make sure to mention first that you are going to propose to do an unofficial /e/OS user build by yourself, nothing official from Murena.
Not every user is entirely aware of what’s going on here regarding unofficial builds by users, and despite all the commendable enthusiasm and effort, this might not be a viable option for most users .
The FP5 is supported by at least two reputable Android CustomROM distributions via AOSP 15 (V) including bootloader relocking, which allows to decide during the initial setup whether microG should be installed or not. /e/ has a different philosophy.
Thanks for your answer, I understand that E wants to adapt to the majority, I simply wanted it to offer the official possibility of uninstalling it. For developers they should be able to easily integrate this as an option (by specifying a message of the risks etc …) …
I looked at the link that was provided to me from another page, but you have to enter the fastboot, adb settings and I do not want that.
I simply want to be able to remove it simply not wanting to pay the price for it to be pre-installed to have to tinker and potentially crash.
So from what I understand no option currently available. Thanks anyway
PS : Installing IodOS means entering the internal settings of the device via USB etc… unless an APK exists to switch easily without risk?
Not technically possible, so will not happen. And no OS install ever anywhere is without risk.
So you’re stuck with us /e/OS users, it would seem, but there are worse things imaginable .
