Device to device backup option on A15?

Hi,

Is device to device backup supported by FF5 and Android 15? I have an A14 device which supports such backups and creates backups of all apps. On my FF5 (A15) this option is not available, and some apps are excluded from backups.

Can someone help or clarify about this backup option?

can you post a screenshot of what you mean?

You can find it at:

Settings → System → Backup → (Personal) → Seedvault Sicherung → … (right top) → Expert settings → Device-to-device backups

The option is available on A14 (Tablet) but not on A15 Fp5. Probebly the screenshot is not really helpful. Is is from the A14 device.

this is up to d2d being no longer experimental and enabled by default in the A15 branch of Seedvault (actually A14 too, somehow didn’t trickle down into your build since Oct’ 24)

After the system upgrading, some apps are labeled as no backup because the app does not allow backups. I triggered the backup process multiple time and the number of such apps decreases.
