Differences between K-9 Mail and the default /e/OS Mail app

Does anybody know what differences are between the K-9 Mail app and the /e/OS default Mail app (which I believe is based on the K-9 Mail app)?

A few versions of /e/OS ago, I was having all sorts of weird errors with the default /e/OS Mail app so decided to move to K-9.

Trying to work out if it’s worth taking another look at the default mail app (as I see K-9 Mail has started having trackers bundled-in).

Hi, may I ask where you saw that? According to the latest exodus-privacy report for k-9 mail (21.1) there are no trackers found.

The trackers you saw are more likely coming from the HTML emails you received which contained images and links.
