Since the latest os update, the digital clock widget is drawn in black instead of white, almost invisible on my wallpaper.
Any idea how to change it back to white?

I’m afraid, you can’t at the moment.
The appearance changed with the new dark mode improvements (when in dark mode, it is white again.)
There is an issue on GitLab for this. You could also comment there, to give it more weight.
