I have like many people grave concerns about digital ID. It seems that mainstream smart phones are susceptible to apps being automatically downloaded on to people phones by third parties, in this case, the government or companies that work for them.
Are Murena safe from such forced compliance in the tech space. We all know its brewing and I need some reassurance. How can I best protect mysef and are Murena able to resist legally?
I have just seen this post and also have concerns about Digital ID. I would be interested to know how the government would be able to force installs of apps on people’s devices against their will on mainstream phones. The only way that I can think of is through the normal app / OS update process? If that is how they might do it, then Murena phones should be safe from this, unless Murena comply with such requests from the UK government. And even then, us users would see this happening - I can’t see how it could be carried out without our knowledge.
