Disable Headphone Controls

Hi Everyone!

I have a problem with my headphones. When i use them my music randomly changes volume or starts/stops without any input on my part. Sometimes i can trigger it by moving the headphone cable, but not reliably.

So i assume the cable is broken and sends random commands when it is moved. My headphones dont have any control buttons.

The sound is still good so i dont want to just replace the headphones.

How can i disable headphone controls?

I am running a self installed /e/OS on a FP4.

I have the same problem and would be glad to get any kind of answer. I have found solutions for the android system in general, but they don’t work on e-os.
