I recently purchased a Fairphone 3+ with /e/OS in order to get read of GAFAM’s apps, but it is quite a hard path for me as I’m not so much of a good geek. I try to do it step by step but there is one step I can’t make : finding a running app that doesn’t work with Goolag Maps.
I saw one previous topic about how Strava doesn’t work unless you download GM, what I would like to avoid. But right now I don’t see many options. I don’t really mind about which app I would use as long as I can get the main information about my run (distance, average speed, speed/km…). I really need those for I’m training for a marathon and I would like 1/ not having to buy an expensive running watch 2/ not having to install GM on my phone. That’s why I would like to know if anyone here had an idea about how to solve this without using one of the two solutions above…

J’ai acheté récemment un Faiprhone 3+ avec /e/OS histoire de me débarasser des applis des GAFAM. Je ne suis pas un très bon geek, du coup j’y vais progressivement, et j’en apprends tous les jours. Seulement voilà, je bloque un peu sur un truc : j’aimerais trouver une application de running qui ne fonctionne pas avec Goolag Maps.
J’ai vu un sujet qui expliquait comment Strava ne fonctionnait pas sans télécharger GM, ce que j’aimerais éviter dans la mesure du possible. Je ne cherche pas forcément une application en particulier, je peux m’adapter tant que j’ai accès aux principales informations concernant ma course (distance, vitesse moyenne, vitesse/km…). Je suis un peu en panne de solution et j’ai vraiment besoin d’avoir un suivi de mes courses parce que je m’entraîne pour un marathon. Dans la mesure du possible, j’aimerais éviter 1/ de devoir m’acheter une montre de running qui coûte cher, et 2/ d’installer GM. Donc je me tourne vers la communauté, si jamais quelqu’un a des idées de solutions, je suis preneur.
