I was wondering the same thing after I recently had to pay somebody that way. It would avoid the hardware cost of a dedicated device. As the app is free of charge I guess you can just try it? My current e/OS lacks the NFC capability, so I can’t test it.

The Sumup app indicates that the prerequisites are met:

but tap-to-pay reception does not work on my FP6 /e/OS 3.4 :

@Softer Can you try to reproduce the issue and report a bug fix with your device using the following documentation ? Capture a debug information from /e/OS

Would be great to attach this bug report to a new issue here: Report an issue

Hi thanks for the replies when I have the phone I will respond to the message regards Eoin

Hi,

I tried to follow the instructions below but I was having problems opening or even finding a terminal window on my computer (I use MAC) so was unable to report the issue in the way you would like.

The sum Up app is working correctly with the card reader but I am not able to access Tap to Pay on phone feature.
