Don't receive SMS

Hello everyone, I installed official ROM (IMG-e-3.0.4-a14-20250708507308-official-tetris) for my new phone CMF Phone 1 few days ago and I noticed that I don’t receive SMS but I can send them. I tried everything with no luck. I performed basic checks like restarting the phone, toggling Airplane Mode, checking the messaging app’s blocks, resetting the phone’s network settings, checking SMSC settings by dialing ‘##4636##’ and refresh them but nothing worked. I’m desperate, please help me. Thank you.

Did you include checking your APN settings against those published by your carrier?

You might ask your carrier to send an APN OTA Reset. Threads on the subject have the hashtag apn.

Yes I did. I have the correct one. I reset it as well.

And this is no Multisim? Multisims have an active paging device that is receiving the sms only. But all others can send sms.

Yes the phone is multisims but I’m using only one. I can send sms but I cannot receive them.

So did you try using the other SIM slot?

Of course but with no luck.

I do not mean if the smartphone has two sims, but if you have more then one sim for your telephobnumber in use.
That feature of the telko provider is called multisim.

As of today, magically, the phone is able to receive sms.

Just gotta love computer tech these days.

I have experienced exactly the same problem. I tried to free space etc.
All of a sudden it worked again just to stop aftet a day or two.
What did you do to make it work?

Nothing! Magically I received SMS from a day to another.
