This is my first post here and I hope I put the correct tags etc. Feel free to change them or lecture me on changing them.
So, I went to check if Spotify is available on the app store. It is, but there are multiple versions of it. There’s a “light” version of it, one for radio etc. That I understand. But the “main Spotify application” seems to be there two times. They have quite different version numbers and the last update also differs quite a bit. This brings me to the question where these apps come from and how it can be prevented that outdated or even “foul” apps pulled into the official app repository.
Any idea or input on this?
