/e/ Contacts not being sync with /e/ Rainloop Email?

As I wrote, it’s purpose is to trigger a forced resynchronization from eCloud address book to RainLoop’s.

It happens to me that contacts, added from /e/ phone, weren’t available in RainLoop.
So I used this function and then I could see them :slight_smile:

Or course, just after the initial synchronization it is not useful :wink:

RainLoop contacts database is separated from eCloud address book, so it makes sense that they can get out of sync.

I couldn’t find this sync method in List of HOWTO.
Should I clean my glasses, or … ? :wink:
I can for sure write an Howto and add it to the list, but I think that your post is eligible “as is”.

Anybody know WHY you need to EXPLICITLY set up a given /e/ email contacts account to sync with its own contacts? Seems to me that particular association should be automatic upon setting up a new account with the option of syncing to other contact lists. Pretty sure it would be a relatively simple “new account” profile template change …
