E.email listed as spam by spamhaus.org - cannot forward e-mail to Gmail account

Hello there,

I am trying to forward an e-mail to a Gmail account and I receive an error message that my e-mail address is blocked by spamhaus.org and I therefore cannot send it. I have checked the records on the site and the e.email domain is in the Blocked Removal List (https://www.spamhaus.org/dbl/removal/record/e.email). How to proceed?

Cheers!
Francesco

With a blacklist-check I checked if my IP address or the IP address of the mail.ecloud.global mail server is on a public blacklist. I have used for this different Tool services: http://www.blacklistalert.org/ - ttp://multirbl.valli.org/ - https://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check - https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool - https://www.projecthoneypot.org/search_ip.php . The IP adress of 51.75.90.184 (mail.ecloud.global) or (e.email) is not listed there.

The reasons why you might have ended up on a blacklist can be many and varied, e.g. that your reputation is negative. Spamhaus org offers a web interface to apply for delisting. Have you already tried it?

yes – any serious internet service provider, which provides mail services for its customers, has to fight this notorious issue frequently. usually you utilize monitoring software, like icinga, to automatically check the blacklists of the most significant spam-filter providers and analyze the mail server logfiles, to generate warning signals for the operators before the issue affects all of your users. it’s always a rather time consuming and uncomfortable task, to get this entries removed again, but it’s simple a necessary part of your your job, if you want to provide reliable email services for a wider audience nowadays.

Hi there. Thanks for your response. It doesn’t seem to be my e-mail address specifically that has been blacklisted, but the domain ‘e.email’ itself. As a result, I suspect the application for delisting would need to be made by the administrators, rather than any individual user.

Strange, because a blacklist check (see above), per IP address 51.75.90.184 (mail.ecloud.global) for example with results in the following information: .spamhaus.org = IP Not Listed ( Good! )

I just checked spamhaus.org again and now the ‘e.email’ domain is no longer listed. Perhaps someone actioned the request for de-listing already! If so, that’s good! It was listed this morning when I checked it. Anyway, good news!

Looks like mail.ecloud.global is being blocked again by spamhaus.org.

I’m not having the issue with Gmail recipients, but in my case some domains provided by local ISPs and some aol.com email addresses are returning “Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender”.

The details of the block are located here:

Pl send a mail with the details to support@e.email and the team can work on having it resolved.

Hi Manoj. Forwarded the Undeliverable Message to the team. Hope it will be fix soon. Thank you for the hard work.

I’ll forward this as well, but I thought it would be helpful to list here as well…looks like there is a poor reputation rating with this other service as well…emails are taking hours to deliver:
