Hi. Same problem here, on a Teracube 2s, bought last May. Choosing normal password solves temporarily the situation for me, but then, it goes back to the same problem…
same as ricardo. and happends regularly.
at beginning it cames over 100 times
and day after day, it came even less.
today happened only 1 time.
seems to me that a topic of server side. is that correct?
The workaround is to use the webbased version. But I have to check manually if there is new mail.
I will look for another mail client. To check if I have to switch provider ![]()
After update to 4.1.1 I’ve got a message that I need authorize again my account, but after that emails are send (built-in email client). But today I noted that incoming/ outcoming calls don’t show caller details from phonebook, just a number… any idea?
EDIT:
I noted that in contacts I have just 20-some entries out of more than 300 befora - looks like my murena account contacts are gone from the phone. They are available on murena.io - like sth is filtering accounts in contacts app. But there is no such a setting…
It works, I have made a new account.
I didn’t get the renew your authorisation, but you set me to the right track.
Thx.
Hello, I made the same thing but no way :
Authorization Exception : Session doesn’t have required client
No mails, no agendas, nothing.
A renewed account was a temporary solution ![]()
Recieving mail works butt sending stopped working after a day.
Downgrading /e/OS to version 3 ?
a logic bug in the mailapp querying the accountmanager made it into the v4.1.1 release - weekly dev updates say a fix is coming up for 4.2.
I guess after this mail gets added to the packages being able to be updated outside the image distribution.
I do not have this problem (yet
).
As there was a related problem in the past, can anyone affected try these two things and see whether one of them works?
If the second option works, I think that you can re-enable “Mail” sync and switch back to OAuth2 when the patch has been shipped, probably with /e/OS 4.2.
Gigaset GS290 4.1.1
Hi! Receiving mail did work until yesterday, but suddenly not today. I haven´t been able to send any mail from Murena after installing 4.1.1 last Thursday. Mail was left to Outgoing folder.
Started getting mail with your instructions though, thank you! Outgoing server gives “Setup could not finish Cannot connect to server. (Unable to open connection to SMPT server)” for both OAuth 2.0 or Normal Password settings. Sending mail not working still.
I just got the reauthorizations notification, and went to my account and reentered my credentials.
it works for now, checked the settings butt, don’t want change something while it works.
When it stops working, I will follow your list.
The sync. mail off while changing the key. ![]()
