/e/ os and ice.no Norway

Hi.

Do /e/ have any plan to support the new 4G talk that Ice.no have implemented? Ice in Norway have their own net and if that is not available, they use another net from Telenor. 27th of may, Ice shut down 2G. My Gigaset 290 support 4G talk. But with this Ice/Telenor Roaming solution i get only data and no talk when using Telenor. I don’t think this has anything to do with Gigaset, but the os as a whole. So even if i buy a new /e/ phone it may not work.

Can you please look into it?

I like /e/ os a lot and hope to make it work again.

Have you enabled VoLTE in your phone setting? (If available/possible)

“4G Tale” = VoLTE, which seemed to be functional in gs290 - least some time ago:

I did a test some months ago with a new SIM card on the GS290, /e/OS 2.9, but no success with the VoLTE call.
I must say that I do not know if that is due to the OS / phone / operator / conditions of the call, since I have read the VoLTE depends on a lot of different items … and up to now, I have not been able to pass any VoLTE call on my devices …

Yes, the VoLTE-situation seems to be somewhat unclear…
