e/OS browser - entering email address in webmail

When trying to enter an email address on my ISPs webmail server page, the e/OS Browser wants to keep correcting my entry, which is annoying !

Can you turn off predictive text for just this dialogue, or turn it off at all ??

Any pointers be helpful.

In the browser (any page) tape three dots upper right: Settings> Privacy and security (scroll down) and under Other services is the switch “Improve search suggestion” turn that switch off.

I have not tried it but looking in the browse setting it looks like it could be the issue. Reboot the browser and maybe the phone too.

Thanks, you would think that would work, but sadly when I try to enter my email address when logging into webmail its still trying to correct, I have looked through a number of settings in the browser (Cromite) but cannot find anything that might be relevant …

I will open an issue on github, but before that want to make sure e/OS itself does not have a setting that can be changed, or should one assume that e/OS has nothing to do with text entering in Cromite dialogues.
