@chrisrg it worked out perfectly. Note2self: Thing to remember slot_a and slot_b.

One question though. Fastboot has several options, one of is:

–slot SLOT Use SLOT; ‘all’ for both slots, ‘other’ for
non-current slot (default: current active slot).

How to use this option is not clear or concise enough. Would you use it like and/or is this correct?

fastboot --slot ‘all’ flash boot recovery-e-1.6-s-20221201239247-dev-lemonadep.img

Great! You’re up and running.

In the process you’ve tested out the process of temporarily booting e-recovery with dtbo.img, vendor-boot.img extracted from the eos build being installed.

Note on a/b slots: normally you don’t need to worry about them. I wouldn’t use anything like the command you suggest in your post. I might expand on this a bit more tomorrow.
